The Maffra and
District Car Club was formed in March 1966 and began work on it's hillclimb at
Boisdale in the foothills behind Maffra. |

Monthly meetings are well attended and the strong membership includes many juniors 14-18 years who also enjoy their strong junior class at Boisdale Boisdale Hillclimb is a purpose built gravel surfaced hillclimb of track length 710 metres (short track) in a bush setting. There is also an additional loop that starts below Kiosk Corner making a track length of 980 metres. Other fixed facilities at Boisdale include a control tower for communication and computer timing, kiosk/shelter, modern toilet block, fenced playground, pits, spectator area lighting and spectator area lighting and spectator safety fences. The club runs six hillclimbs a year at Boisdale as part of it's club championship and an additional event for Super Series Autocross. |
